hello. my name is boey.

boey, born in August, 1987 in the town of Sungai Lalang, Kedah- a smaller than small town. boey's interest in drawing began at an early age and by the time he was in primary school he knew he wanted to be a designer. He studied advertising to realize that what really he wanted to do was to draw!

"I’m a self-taught graphic designer living in Petaling Jaya. I have a keen interest in everything to do with branding, graphic design and advertising - would probably call it an obsession. My interests include spending time with my family, good food, good film, good friends, bad laptop, music and colours that would make your eyes bleed.

Whether I’m working with friends, an agency, or on my own, coming up with new ideas and experiences never gets old. Creative thinking and problem-solving is what keeps me going.

All the amazing work out there inspires me to try new things. So far for now my design style is ambiguous at best. This could change, but for now I’m having fun experimenting.

The 'Perak incident', for me, I see the politician taking power in undemocratically way. It is an undemocratic way of seizing power. At the moment we can see there is no democracy in Malaysia.
We, Malaysians voters, regardless of race and religion, finally had no choice but to swing our votes and support to the opposition parties.
YOU should respect us first!
